Here is Part One of Laura and Rafael’s wedding in Colombia. Laura got in touch with me a few months before the wedding, while looking for a photographer. The funny thing is that after a few emails, we soon realized we had a close friend in common in Bucaramanga — the city where they are from. What a small world!!! I lived with and met many Colombians when I was studying in America and they were fantastic people. Since then, I have always wanted to visit Colombia and here was a great opportunity!
I finally met Laura and Rafael for the first time in Cartagena on the Caribbean coast of Colombia. Needless to say the complicity was immediate and we organized together our pre-wedding photography session. Cartagena de Indias is an old colonial city designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. With its annual 25-30°C, the city is a popular tourist destination and it has everything to offer for great photography.
